Scope of these terms
These terms apply to AEX Wallet for Android and iOS and related wallet services provided by Kairos Markets Ltd ("AEX", "we" or "us"). Contact address: 1001 South Main, Suite 500, Kalispell, MT 59901, USA.
Read these terms and the Privacy Policy before creating, recovering or using a wallet. Where a service requires agreement, decide whether to accept after understanding its terms. Features may differ by platform, region and version; these terms do not imply that an unavailable feature is operational.
Eligibility and account security
You must meet the eligibility and legal-capacity requirements of applicable law and comply with local requirements for digital assets and related services. Do not use AEX for fraud, theft, money laundering, infringement or other unlawful activity, attack the system, impersonate others or evade authentication.
Protect your device, operating system, authenticator and email account, and promptly address unusual access or device loss. Do not share session credentials, full private keys, backup passwords or one-time codes. AEX branding, websites and app-store listings do not represent financial licensing, government guarantees or asset insurance in any jurisdiction.
Wallets, MPC and backups
AEX MPC workflows involve both the device and wallet service in key generation, recovery and signing. Availability depends on the device, recovery material, authentication, network and services. The architecture does not mean the wallet is independent of all services or recoverable in every circumstance.
Complete the required encrypted backup and securely retain the file, password and verification methods separately. Understand recovery steps before funding a wallet. Losing these materials or erasing an unbacked-up device may prevent recovery or asset access.
Check backups and assets before logging out, uninstalling, switching accounts or deleting data. You manage backups held by file providers; removing the app does not delete cloud backups.
Transaction authorization and results
- Check before signing
- Verify the network, asset, destination, amount, contract permissions, minimum received, slippage, network fee and service fee. Do not sign an instruction you do not understand.
- Quotes and confirmation
- Market data and estimates can change. An expired quote or a material amount or fee change requires checking the refreshed confirmation screen.
- Transaction status
- A submitted request or loading indicator does not prove settlement. Reconcile a verifiable hash and receipt with balances and business records. Blockchain transactions can fail, be delayed or be affected by reorganizations.
- Errors and uncertainty
- Check receipts and asset changes before retrying an uncertain payment. Do not repeatedly sign or submit the same payment. Broadcast transactions are usually irreversible; a wrong network or destination may cause permanent loss.
Service and network fees
AEX may charge a swap service fee. The rate, fee asset and calculation shown before signing apply to the proposed transaction. Network fees, on-chain account-creation costs and third-party charges may also apply. Network fees may still be charged for failed transactions.
Market prices and old quotes do not determine the final amount received. Fee rules and material rate changes will be disclosed clearly before signing. AEX will not add an undisclosed service fee after you sign. Keep transaction hashes and confirmation details for reconciliation or questions.
Websites, DApps and other providers
Market data, RPC, routing, verification, storage and DApp features involve other providers that may interrupt, rate-limit, delay or change their services. An advertisement, link or DApp listing does not guarantee returns, safety or lawfulness.
Connecting a wallet is not automatically a transfer approval, but later signatures can grant contract spending rights or have other material effects. Review each request carefully, especially unlimited allowances, unfamiliar contracts and signatures you do not understand. Third-party terms and privacy policies apply to their services.
Digital-asset risks and service limits
Digital assets can be volatile and illiquid. Risks include contract vulnerabilities, bridge or protocol failures, network congestion, malware and regulatory changes. An asset may lose all its value. Past performance, market displays and technical features are not investment advice or a promise of returns.
We take reasonable measures to maintain our services, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation or prevention of every attack. Maintenance, security responses and legal requirements may affect features. We will explain impacts and provide support where feasible.
These terms do not exclude liabilities or consumer rights that applicable law does not permit to be excluded, or waive mandatory responsibility for intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence or other non-excludable obligations. You may first contact us about a dispute. If it remains unresolved, you may seek relief from a body with jurisdiction under applicable law.
Personal information and ending use
The Privacy Policy describes account, device, backup, transaction and diagnostic data processing. You may stop using features and manage device permissions. Understand the impact on recovery and pending transactions before closing an account or deleting related material.
Ending use or requesting deletion does not reverse transactions, erase public-chain records, revoke contract allowances automatically or remove backups held by third parties. The current version does not offer one-click server-side account deletion. Submit data or account-deletion requests using the contact in the Privacy Policy. Logging out is not account deletion.
Changes and contact
We will provide appropriate notice of material changes and obtain renewed consent where legally required. The date at the top identifies the current version. Changes apply in accordance with applicable law; continued use is not unlimited authorization for unknown changes.
